WSTMA still time to register for Oct 22 at UW Whitewater

Registration

  • Any member of the WSTMA, $50.00 which includes morning coffee, lunch, and tour of campus sports fields
  • Any person who is a non-member, or not a student, is considered a guest. Welcome to our event.
  • Any organization that is currently enrolled in our Partnership Program; Platinum (3 people to register), Gold (2 people), Silver (1 person), Bronze (1 person), Green Grass( must pay for registration). Payment, other than Green Grass level, was included in your Partnership, includes display table(s) and lunches. Platinum and Gold level are allowed to display outdoor equipment.
  • Any student, high school or college is welcome to attend our events. The cost for membership is free, but the cost for this event is $10.00, payable on line or at the door. Registration is greatly appreciated so we have enough food, seats, etc. for the event.
Everyone, please register for the event for all members, guests and our Industry Partnership program members. We need accurate numbers for food and seating. Thank you.

7:15am                        Vendor set-up, equipment display area available for  Platinum and Gold Partnerships, tables are available for all Partners in Industry, no equipment demo area


7:30am                        Registration, coffee and rolls served


8:30 – 8:45am             Welcome by President Mike Krupke and host Mike Miller


8:45 – 9:30am             Precision Laboratories will be presenting an educational session on wetting agents, surfactants and their application for sports field managers.


9:30 – 9:45am             3-minute presentations by our Industry-Partners on products and services, each Industry Partner will be able to present at some time during the event


9:45 – 10am                Presentation of the new Turfgrass Compendium by Dr. Paul Koch of UW-Madison,he will present and then accept the WSTMA contribution of $3000.00.


 10 – 10:20am            Break and visits with our vendors


10:20-10:35am            3-minute presentations by our Vendor-Partners on   

                                    products and services


10:35-11:35am            Presentation on Plant Growth Retardants by Bill Kreuser, Ph.D. is a turfgrass Extension Specialist and Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees at University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Ph.D. at Cornell University.


11:35-noon                  Announcements by President Mike Krupke;

                                    Coon Valley, equipment sharing program


Noon- 12:45                Lunch and visits with our Vendor-Partners


12:45-1:15pm              3-minute presentations by our Vendor-Partners on         

                                     products and services


1:15 – 1:45pm             Mike Miller, UW-Whitewater; Poa annua treatments


1:45pm – 3:15pm       Tours of UW-Whitewater sports fields and facilities
